How to Convert a Fraction to a Percent

1. Divide the denominator into the numerator

= 3 ÷ 5 = 0.6

2. Multiply the quotient by 100.

0.6 × 100 = 60

How to Convert a Percent to a Fraction 1. Place the percentage in the numerator, put 100 in the denominator, and drop the percent sign.
