avoid the use of “I” and avoid stating the obvious. The body paragraphs could benefit from a stronger topic sentence to focus each paragraph. While the author uses plenty of support in the response, the writing becomes unfocused and off topic at times, making the analysis seemweak. The author should make sure all parts of the prompt are properly covered, and make sure that nothing is off topic. The conclusion paragraph is almost entirely off topic and commenting more on the writer’s beliefs, rather than concrete examples for improvement.
