Bernard Weiner's Attribution Theory focuses on how individuals understand and explain the reasons behind their own and others’ actions, especially in situations related to success and failure. It focuses on how people decide what caused an outcome and how these reasons affect their feelings, motivations and future behavior.

D. Early-Onset Disorders As we develop, most individuals follow similar patterns, but there are also many differences in how individuals learn and change. This section looks at the earlier stages of development and how some disorders can affect a child’s typical growth.
